My name is Kerry and I reside in Wisconsin. I received my English degree from UW Madison and as you’d guess, I’ve done nothing with it. My parents are Hmong refugees who arrived during the Vietnam War after many of their peers died fighting for the American cause. I use my experience as a 2nd generation citizen and that of the collective immigrant experience to voice the concerns of those that have none. I’d like to think I am an extremely aware and candid writer who will force her readers to see things in a different light. I believe change germinates in not doing something differently, but first, seeing it differently. I intend to provide a slightly different viewpoint that would be able to provide change.
